Featured in Makeup Artist Magazine

November 18, 2015

We are very proud to announce that Squib FX has been showcased as a featured product in the largest issue of Makeup Artist Magazine ever printed! Now on shelves, the October/November issue is full of great information and features tons of cool products. And #5 on the list of products that are so awesome that Makeup Artist Magazine just has to feature them is Squib FX! Issue 116 spotlights one of our safety squib rigs in all its shining glory. Here is what they had to say about The Tarantino:

“Need a bloody bullet-wound effect fast and easy and don’t have time to rig up something yourself? Keep the Squib FX Tarantino Bullet Hit Rig in mind. This self-contained unit- featuring bullet hit rig body, syringe, tubing assembly, Velcro holders, costume attachments and an instruction booklet- can be used to create gunshot wounds, blood spray, mortar wounds and more.”

And how proud are we to be featured in the magazine that I have found so inspirational throughout my career? The makeup effect industry’s most respected publication along side legends the likes of Craig Rearden, Steve Johnson, Stephen Prouty, my pal Ralis Khan (who also has a really cool bullet hit rig he’s devised), Johnny Depp and Ve Neil? Pretty F-ing amazing!!
