We are thrilled to announce that Squib FX will be joining Tolin FX as an artist vendor for Wizard World in Pittsburgh!  Wizard World Pittsburgh takes place Sept. 11-13 at the David L. Lawrence Convention Center downtown.This year will be the first time Wizard World has come to Pittsburgh and we’re thrilled to be a part of its inaugural visit.

Squib FX will be showcasing several of our rigs, and demonstrating on…you! Come to the booth to try our rigs out yourself and get bloodied up for the con! You can also choose to have your experience wearing and being sprayed by a Squib FX non-explosive bullet hit rig to be caught on tape. Impress your friends! Horrify your mom!

Meet special effects artist Steve Tolin and many artists from the Tolin FX crew. Special guest artist Rick Prince of Malice In Mind FX Laboratory will make appearances, and will join Steve Tolin and director Ben Samuels on the panel for the film 6:15. Pittsburgh Dad may pop by with some goodies, and Jeff Waltrowski, director of It Came From Yesterday, a sci-fi fantasy feature co-produced and outfitted with special effects by Tolin FX.

Crew members of Tolin FX will be doing zombie and trauma make-ups, so come on down and sit in our Hercules Chair and get your gross on! The Bugman suit from It Came From Yesterday will be on display for photo ops, as well as an assortment of other movie props and memorabilia from projects we have worked on over the past 16 years.
