Don't feel like making your own stage blood? This is the corn syrup based stage blood recipe that we've been using for years. Based on Dick Smith's formula, we have had a lot of success over the years using this blood. Our stage blood very rarely stains costumes, fabric, sets/props or people, but IT WILL stain untreated concrete/gypsum, wood, and other sponge-like porous materials, and occasionally it may stain family heirlooms and famous people. Our stage blood has a deep rich color, flows like real blood, and will not bead up on skin. Our recipe creates a thick bodied blood that can be thinned down to preference.
